Gift Guru, Inc., doing business as OnPoint Hunts, a Delaware corporation (“Company”, “OnPoint Hunts”, “Gift Guru”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), takes your privacy seriously. At OnPoint Hunts, we pledge to follow the provisions of this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) in order to protect your privacy rights.

This Privacy Policy outlines our general policy and practices for collecting, using, sharing and protecting information obtained from you though: (i) online interfaces (e.g., websites) owned and controlled by Company, including (collectively referred to herein as the “Site”); and (ii) Company’s mobile application (the “App,” and together with the Site, collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we gather, how we use it, and the choices individuals have regarding our use of their information.


This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect at and through the Service. However, it does not apply to entities that Company does not own or control, including, but not limited to, third party sites that sell recommended items through use of the Service (“Third Party Sites”). These Third Party Sites are governed by their own privacy policies and not this Privacy Policy. When you access a Third Party Site, through a link provided by the Service or otherwise, your activity on the Third Party Site is bound by the Third Party Site’s policies and this Privacy Policy is no longer applicable. We collect information you provide to us, for example when you create or modify your account, register to use our Service, purchase products or services through the Service, request information from us, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include:

  • Details of past purchases made in connection with the Service
  • Search queries made using the Service
  • User generated content (posts, feedback, comments, photos, videos, messages, etc.)

We may collect the following information about you from time to time from third party sources, including U.S. census data or other third party brokers:

  • Demographic information (which may include, but is not limited to, income, household size and composition)

When you access the Service from a computer, mobile phone, or other device, we may collect information from that device about your browser type, location, and IP address, as well as the pages you visit.

We keep track of some of the actions you take on the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Buttons clicked and page interaction by Users when using the Service

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”) to collect certain information relating to your use of the Service. We use Facebook Pixel, a web analytics service provided by Facebook, Inc. When purchases are made on an affiliated Third Party Site, we do not collect any personal purchasing information from the purchaser.


To Provide Services and Information. We collect and use your information in order to register and service your account, provide the services you request in connection with your use of the Service, communicate with you and improve user experience. We use the email addresses provided by user to communicate with users regarding upcoming events, promotions, and updates to the Service.

Sharing with Third Parties.  We may provide information to third party service providers that help us operate and manage the Service. These service providers may have access to your personal information in order to provide these services, but when this occurs we implement reasonable contractual and technical protections to limit their use of that information to helping us provide the service.

Your Consent.  In addition to the sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we will share information about you, including personal information, with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Company when we have your consent to do so.

Legal Proceeding.  We may share personal information with third party companies, organizations or individuals outside of Company if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such Personal Information is reasonably necessary to:  (i) meet any applicable law, regulation, subpoena, legal process or enforceable governmental request; (ii) enforce our Terms of Use Agreement, including investigation of potential violations; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issuers; or (v) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Company, our users, customer or the public as required or permitted by law.

Transfer in the Event of a Sale of Change of Control.  If the ownership of all or substantially all of our business changes or we otherwise transfer assets relating to our business, the Site and/or the App to a third party, such as by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy proceeding or otherwise, we may transfer or sell your personal information to the new owner. In such a case, unless permitted otherwise by applicable law, your information would remain subject to the promises made in the applicable privacy policy unless you agree differently.


You can access and update certain information we have relating to your user account by signing into your account and going to the “Settings” section of the Site or App.  If you have questions about personal information we have about you or need to update your information, you can Contact Us.  You can opt-out of receiving marketing and promotional emails from Company by going to the “Settings” section of the Site or App, or by using the opt-out or unsubscribe feature contained in the emails.

If you would like to close your user account, you can Contact Us or cancel your account via the mobile application downloaded on the App Store or Google Play, as applicable.  If you close your account, we will no longer use your user account information.  We may, however, retain a copy of the information for archival purposes, and to avoid identity theft or fraud.


All data from the Site and the App is stored and managed through Amazon Web Services. This allows us to implement security measures in order to protect your information and privacy. However, since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.  There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.  Please note that emails and other communications you send to us through our Site or the App are not encrypted, and we strongly advise you not to communicate any confidential information through these means.

It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. Users should take steps to protect their own information. These steps include choosing a strong password for your account and not disclosing your password to others. Despite the implementation of these security measures, we cannot guarantee the security of your data. Users agree to accept these risks by using or accessing the Service. 7. Children Under 13.

In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not attempt to register with us at the Site or the App or provide any personal information about yourself to us as children under the age of 13 are prohibited from creating their own accounts or using the Service. We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to terminate any accounts we believe are being used by somebody under the age of 13.

8. Consent to Processing of Personal Data in United States.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or other jurisdiction outside of the U.S., in order to provide our Service, products and services to you, we may send and store your personal information (also commonly referred to as personal data) outside of the EEA, including to the United States. Accordingly, your personal information may be transferred outside of the country where you reside or are located, including to countries that may not or do not provide the same level of protection for your personal information.  We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information when it is transferred. By using and accessing the Site or the App, users who reside or are located in countries outside of the United States agree and consent to the transfer to and processing of personal information on servers located outside of the country where they reside, and that the protection of such information may be different than required under the laws of their residence or location.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your consent in accordance with applicable law. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of privacy policy changes). We will also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive for your review.

11. Account and Data Deletion.

You may delete your account at any point. To delete your account, login to the application on your phone, navigate to the Profile page. Then scroll down and select delete. If you are unable to delete your account, you may request manual deletion by contacting us at

When deleting your account, basic details such as tracked applications are retained. You may request that all associated account information is deleted by contacting us at and requesting all data be permanently removed.
